How to Build a Shelf That Turns

01

Anchor, then fill

Two or three recognizable names earn the stop. The rest of the shelf is where discovery — and margin — lives.

02

Three price tiers

An entry price, a middle, and one bottle or box that sets the ceiling. Shoppers buy the middle.

03

Rotate a tenth

Swap two or three SKUs each season so regulars have something new without losing the shelf they know.

Shop by Shelf FAQ

01

What is Shop by Shelf?

It groups GFM's catalog the way your store is laid out, so you source a whole section in one pass instead of category by category.

02

How many SKUs does a shelf need?

Each shelf lists a working range. A four-foot section usually reads well at 18–24 facings.

03

Can I mix shelves in one order?

Yes. Order minimums are set per maker, and anything fulfilled by GFM consolidates into a single shipment.

04

What do WSP and RRP mean?

WSP is your wholesale cost per unit. RRP is the maker's recommended retail price — you set your own shelf price.

05

Who can sign up?

If you're buying inventory for a brick-and-mortar store, an online shop, or a pop-up, you can sign up for free.

06

Do shelves change?

The shelf list is stable. What's on each one is re-cut monthly as new makers come onto the marketplace.

About Us

GFM is a wholesale marketplace for specialty food, with integrated fulfillment, serving independent retailers, specialty grocers, restaurants, and cafes. Buyers order across many brands in a single order, and GFM fulfills and ships it as one shipment.

There is no order minimum, so you can order as little as one case and test a shelf before committing to it. Pricing follows everyday low pricing, held stable rather than tied to promotions, so you can plan your margin with confidence.

Shipping & Delivery

Anything fulfilled by GFM consolidates into one shipment, whatever the shelf. Orders ship in 3-5 days: parcel for lighter orders, LTL freight for larger or palletized orders, and local delivery on weekly regional routes where available.

Refrigerated Case items move on a cold-chain route with insulated packaging. Best before dates are shown on every product page before you order, so you can plan sell-through and avoid short-dated surprises.
